Winter 2020

Always take the time to inhale deeply to bring good things to you. One of our daily rituals? Cold brew matcha tea first thing every morning and again mid afternoon for a healthy dose of green and slow-release caffeine. Three ingredients. In a tall glass, place one-half teaspoon organic matcha powder from Japan. Add about two ounces of filtered water. Blend with a hand held frother until completely blended and the powder appears to be dissolved. Add ice. Fill the glass almost to the top with more filtered water. Alternatively, you can place all ingredients in a cocktail skaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds then transfer to a glass and enjoy. Aficionados appreciate acquiring and savoring their matcha teas like fine wines and health experts suggest that you not add another thing to cold brew iced matcha to maximize its many health benefits. Matcha contains nutrients from the entire tea leaf and it is known to be rich in catechins, a type of plant compound in tea that acts as natural antioxidants providing healing properties and powers.
